I am an innovative educator and experienced collaborative leader. As a digital humanist I have over a decade of experience as an early adopter and educational architect of digital solutions for teaching, learning, research, and service. My experience in digital humanities shapes my approaches and methods in teaching and research, and the content I engage with in history and the scholarship of teaching and learning enhances my creativity in applying digital methods.
I am interested in spaces: gendered spaces, historical spaces, protest spaces, and digital spaces. This particular space is a collection of my research and teaching projects. I also blog about digital humanities and my experiments in digital scholarship, GIS, and pedagogy.
I am Professor of History and Women’s & Gender Studies and Director of Social Studies at Cleveland State University.
